AMARC invites you to participate to the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

From November 25, International Day to End Violence against women, to December 10, Human Rights Day, the World Association of Community Broadcasters (AMARC) invites community radio producers and journalists to help prevent and denounce gender-based violence by discussing the issue on air, raising public awareness, mobilizing communities and informing audiences.

AMARC calls on the Chilean State to fulfill its agreement to compensate citizens affected by discrimination and to promote community radio broadcasting

The World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC) and its national chapter AMARC Chile welcome the settlement agreement promoted by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH) between the Chilean State and 9 journalists and 6 listeners from Radio Estrella del Mar in Melinka, Region of Aysen, who had their human rights of freedom of expression and access to information violated.
