In generale viene sottolineata la mancanza di trasparenza e democrazia nel processo in atto. Awudu Mbaya Cyprian, Presidente esecutivo dei paralmentari Pan-Africani sul cambiamento climatico ha dichiarato che la posizione africana non e’ stata considerata e che risultera’ conveniente non siglare alcun accordo piuttosto che aderire ad uno che significhera’ la morte per il popolo africano. Le richieste che vengono fatte a Connie Hedegaard, ministro danese per il Clima e l’energia e Presidente della COP15, riguardano la certezza della trasparenza dei negoziati e prima di procedere con nuove negoziazioni, che vengano assicurati seri impegni economici a favore dei paesi poveri.

Diversi gruppi di manifestanti si sono itnrodotti all’interno delle strutture, per parlare con i dirigenti e fare contro-informazione. Alta la presenza delle forze dell’ordine.
