The Step it Up for Gender Equality Media Compact brings together a broad coalition of media outlets from every region who work in print, broadcast and online news media to ensure wide reach and robust efforts towards women’s rights and gender equality.
The World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC) joins UNESCO, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent and the World Health Organization in the fight against Zika virus. From March 21 to April 17, AMARC will mobilize community radio stations from its network in Zika-affected countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to help disseminate prevention and health-related information via an international radio campaign.
